Training
Training programme
Our courses can provide the skills you need to engage with confidence and will improve the quality of engagement your organisation delivers. We offer a range of training to develop skills in public engagement through our set programme of short training courses on methods and skills, from consulting with citizens to participatory evaluation.

Bespoke in-house training
We provide bespoke training and consultancy offering a flexible approach to meet your organisational and individual needs. Our training courses are suitable for people working in public service organisations who want to design, develop and deliver citizen engagement and public participation.
Our courses can be delivered to any number of participants in a location that works for you. A typical course usually runs with 6-15 participants, and the more people you can get to attend brings down the cost per head. What about inviting partners and other organisations to get involved too, build partnership relationships and make it cheaper for everyone?
As a guide, we charge for trainer's fees plus travel costs, production of handouts and materials. Your organisation will need to provide the venue and refreshments, if applicable. The training can be delivered at your venue using your organisation’s facilities, or we can help you to find a suitable venue. Please contact us for an informal discussion of your training needs on participationcymru@wcva.org.uk or 029 2043 1725.
